Nitzana Solar Park
This project involves the development of a breakthrough solar clock consisting of a fan of 600 pipes that turn to the sun.
Each pipe represents a minute in the course of 10 hours of daylight.
A ray of light shines through each pipe, minute after minute, onto a board marked with scales representing the exact hour.
Unlike the classical solar clock, the precision of the Nitzana clock is extraordinary.
It was developed by a team of creatives and scientists as the main display for the Nitzana Solar Park near Israel’s southern border.
